High temperature resistance/oil resistance/wear resistance/stable performance/cost-effective

Nitrile butadiene rubber(designation NBR)Operating temperature: 30-100 degrees Celsius Main features: oil resistance, heat resistance, good wear resistance. Widely used in the production of sealing products, but not suitable for phosphate series hydraulic oil and gear oil containing extreme additives.
Silica gel material (code PMQ or VMQ) Working temperature: 60-200 degrees Celsius, the main features: good heat resistance, cold resistance, compression permanent deformation is small, but low mechanical strength.
Fluorine rubber material (code FKM) Working temperature: 20-200 degrees Celsius, main features: heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance and other chemicals, oil resistance (including phosphate ester series hydraulic oil), suitable for all lubricating oil, gasoline, hydraulic oil, synthetic oil.

 

Epdm rubber (code EPD or EPM) working temperature: 50-150 degrees Celsius, the main features: good weather resistance, aging resistance in the air, oil resistance, can be resistant to freon and a variety of refrigerants.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (code PTFE) working temperature: 200-260 degrees Celsius, the main features: good chemical stability, good heat resistance, cold resistance, oil, water, steam, chemicals and other media, high mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, good wear resistance; Very low friction coefficient, good self-lubrication.

 Fluororubbers (FPM) are organic elastomers composed of fluorinated monomers. Its characteristics of temperature resistance up to 300ºC, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance is the best oil resistant rubber, radiation resistance, is good high vacuum performance; Electrical insulation, mechanical properties, chemical corrosion resistance, ozone resistance, atmospheric aging resistance are excellent. The disadvantages are poor processability, high price, poor cold resistance, and low elastic permeability. Operating temperature range: -20ºC~+300ºC. Nitrile rubber O-ring characteristics:

Features: Good sealing effect, easy to install, affordable.

Material: Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)

Temperature resistance: ≥-20ºC, ≤120ºC.

Hardness: 70 degrees in stock (customizable hardness)

Silicone O-ring characteristics:

Features: Soft material, waterproof sealing effect is good.

Material: Silicone (VMQ)

Temperature resistance: ≥-40ºC, ≤200ºC.

Hardness: Spot hardness 55 degrees

Fluorine rubber O-ring characteristics:

Features: high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, oil resistance, pressure resistance.

Material: Fluorine rubber (FKM)

Temperature resistance: ≥-40ºC, ≤200ºC.

Installation Instructions

High temperature resistance

Fluorine rubber skeleton oil seal has good high temperature resistance, can reach 200ºC, so under the same axle diameter, fluorine rubber than nitrile rubber application speed is much higher.

Corrosion resistance

Fluorine rubber has corrosion resistance, so that fluorine rubber oil seal on the machine liquid, different fuel oil and lubricating oil stability is excellent, most of the organic acids, hydrocarbon benzene and toluene has good corrosion resistance.

           Nitrile butadiene rubber/fluorine
can resist oil, hydraulic oil, fuel oil, such as inorganic acid, but there are fat, some ether ketone amine and high temperature chemical compounds such as hydrogen fluoride water should not be used under the condition of fluorine rubber.
